If you're moving from Tallahassee to Arizona, you already know this isn't a short haul. It's roughly 1,835 miles — a serious cross-country move that takes real planning and the right team behind it.
Below you'll find the top Tallahassee movers I'd put on your short list for this route, real cost ranges for every budget level, and a straight look at what actually changes when you land in Arizona.
Of the six Tallahassee movers equipped to handle interstate work, here are the five I'd consider for a move from Tallahassee to Arizona:
3965 West Pensacola Street, Tallahassee, FL 32304 | (850) 576-1231
91% positive | State license #41 | DOT #077949 | 37 years in business
Yelp reviews · Google reviews · BBB profile (Grade A+)
Out of 138 reviews, 91% are positive — and the patterns are consistent: careful handling, professional crews, and communication that holds up during a long-distance move. A handful of reviewers mention damaged items or delivery delays, but those are real outliers. Thirty-seven years in business and a clean DOT record make Browning one of the more trustworthy options in Tallahassee for a move of this distance.
Services: Local, interstate, international, packing/unpacking, crating, storage, fragile-only packing, offices, credit card accepted.
130 4 Points Way, Tallahassee, FL 32305 | (850) 629-0098
96% positive | State license #2068 | DOT #2527384 | 34 years in business
Yelp reviews · Google reviews (BBB Grade A)
The highest positive rate on this list at 96.2% across 288 reviews. Customers regularly report finishing ahead of schedule and coming in under the quoted price — both things worth hearing before committing to a 1,835-mile move. When problems do occur, the complaints focus on damage and pricing discrepancies versus the initial estimate. Those cases are clearly exceptions. Solid franchise execution with strong local follow-through.
Services: Local, interstate, packing/unpacking, pianos, storage, safes, credit card accepted.
3965 West Pensacola Street, Tallahassee, FL 32303 | (850) 576-1017
94% positive | DOT #125563 | 14 years in business
Google reviews (BBB Grade A+)
Smaller operation, but a clean review profile — 94% positive out of 17 reviews. Clients praise organized packing, professional crews, and communication that doesn't disappear mid-move. A couple of neutral reviewers wanted more proactive updates on shipment timing. If you have specialty items — pianos, antiques, grandfather clocks — they're well-equipped to handle them.
Services: Local, interstate, packing/unpacking, pianos, pool tables, art, antiques, grandfather clocks, crating, storage, fragile-only packing, offices, credit card accepted.
1500 Capital Circle SE, Tallahassee, FL 32301 | (850) 212-4627
79% positive | State license #2100 | DOT #2356292 | 13 years in business
Yelp reviews · Google reviews · BBB profile (Grade B−)
Nearly 80% positive across 247 reviews, with crews frequently praised for speed, care, and getting people through tight last-minute deadlines. Pricing is considered fair relative to larger competitors. The concern is the 20% of reviews describing management issues — rude interactions, unexpected charges, and difficulty resolving damage claims. What I'd tell a friend: the crews are capable, but get everything in writing and clarify your options if something goes wrong before you sign anything.
Services: Local, interstate, packing/unpacking, offices, shipment tracking, fragile-only packing, credit card accepted.
3109 W Tennessee St., Tallahassee, FL 32304 | (850) 545-3737
72% positive | DOT #799596 | 33 years in business
Yelp reviews · Google reviews · BBB profile (Grade A+)
Speed and value dominate the positive reviews — 71.5% across 123 reviews. The negatives follow a pattern: unreturned calls, disputed bills, and management that becomes hard to reach after a problem surfaces. Good for straightforward local jobs; I'd be more cautious using them for an interstate haul where post-delivery accountability matters.
Services: Local, interstate, packing/unpacking, pianos, art, antiques, crating, full-valuation coverage, fragile-only packing, cash or credit card accepted.
